ABOUT
Knyja (Pronounced Nee`sha) Gadson

When you think of Knyja Gadson, you should think advocate, empath and motivator. She believes in you. She is an unconventional public speaker, building her career on her ability to connect with others. She is a communications specialist, event moderator, and keynote speaker. At her core, she’s someone who is eager to take on work that she believes in, striving to impact the world positively by putting her abilities to good use.

Your Communications Cheerleader

Previously, Knyja worked in TV. She has hosted an Emmy award winning television show. She has built her 25-year career communicating and helping people communicate effectively. She believes that everyone has a story and wants to help them tell it.

Knyja has collaborated with some high-profile figures, most recently working with NFL legend Terrell Owens, who enlisted her help writing his Hall of Fame acceptance speech. This was a big honor for her, one she will never forget. It’s one more thing that has defined her career – the moments like fireworks that have set her apart.

That was not her first experience working with a celebrity, though. Knyja has also interviewed such major public figures as Diddy and former President Bill Clinton, devising hard-hitting questions and putting her interviewees at ease to present rich and honest depictions of them.

Knyja also cares about education. She earned her MBA in Business Management at the Morris Graduate School of Management and her BA in Broadcast Journalism at Columbia College. She’s devoted much of her free time to serving underprivileged teens. To date, she has spoken to more than 50,000 students in the Chicagoland area, telling her own story and working to motivate them to study hard and attend college.

Mompreneur

I am a mom first. My children are my greatest treasure. It’s really important to show them what hard work and dedication looks like. I grew up in a single parent household. My mom is the epitome of hard work. She worked two jobs to support my sister and I. She never complained, she just did what was necessary.

“If you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life.” –Mark Anthony. That is the mindset in the Gadson household. We are working to cultivate the gifts in our children so they love whatever they choose to do.

I am a passionate communicator; I absolutely love it. I believe mountains can be moved if we are willing to just utilize our voice. Intentional connection and communication can be taught early and if you really work on it, it will be your best and most lucrative asset.
